Job Title: Senior Technical Account Manager

Job Description:

  • Responsible for providing direct technical support to customers who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex computer systems, software and/or networks.
  • Respond to situations where the customer’s first-line of support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning software.
  • Escalate design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to core/develop engineering.
  • Be involved in customer installation and training
  • Provide support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
  • Provide workshops and consulting to existing PSP customers

Requirements:

  • 3+years of working experience in a service function with enterprise customer contact (Telephone, Mail and direct) of IT company
  • Good knowledge of system administration, network administration or consulting environment, support of High-tech and high-level Software/Hardware
  • Good knowledge of security software and internet / WWW domain
  • Good knowledge of network, computer systems and State of the art - operating systems skills in enterprise environment

Responsibility:

  • Handle cases from customers/channels/partners as well as act as escalation point to Trend L2 support engineers, deliver high quality total solutions to our customers quickly, courteously and cost-effectively. Be able to grasp the essential from complexity
  • Work closely with software development team and Service Engineering Group in identifying and resolving the problem based on experience and skill set; effectively interact with the engineering teams to provide solutions to complex technical issues, drive things forward
  • Conduct/Lead/Coordinate product Testing/Training/On-site Support.
  • Maintain and expand working knowledge of current Trend Micro products as well as their integration and methods of support delivery. Mentor and set-up skill set for juniors.

Background Requirement:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Development or equivalent.
  • Minimum Three Years’ experience as a Network Administrator/Engineer, System Integrator/Tester or Technical Support in IT industry.
  • Global Company experienced is advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in client/server applications/environment, particular in any of the following applications:
  • MS Windows Series
  • Linux
  • Exchange or Database knowledge is advantage
  • Certification on either of the following is an advantage:

Background Requirement:

  • Minimum One Years’ experience as a Technical Support, System Engineer/Tester in IT industry or relevant.
  • Support experienced is preferred

Technical Skills:

Requirement:

  • At least 3 years QA experience and had worked for no less than 3 projects as QA engineer. Understand general QA process, have experience on design/execute test cases.
  • Have experience for testing on Windows operation system.
  • Have test planning experience is preferred.
  • Have programming skills is a plus. Experience on C/C++/Java or master some script language like Perl, pathon, TCL or VBScript is better.
  • Understand Mac/iOS/Android/Linux architecture;

Description:

  • The candidate will be involved with analyzing, testing, and modeling Trend top customers deployments to increase the reliability of products in complex deployment scenarios.  The successful candidate will utilize her/his experience in customer deployments and network operations to model networks, and to develop, automate, and execute complex system test plans. The successful candidate will have exposure and interactions with customers, support teams, development teams, and product management teams.

Requirements:

  • MSEE/CS with 2+ years of relative experience, or BSEE/CS with 5+ years of relative experience.
  • Detailed understanding of modern networks design, implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with commercial and non-commercial networking test equipment (e.g. Avalanche, IXIA, SPIRENT) is essential. 
  • Experience in testing, deploying and supporting one or more of the following layer-1 and layer-2 protocols: Ethernet (100Mb to 10GE).  
  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in layer 3 networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, PIM).
  • Strong knowledge of Perl/Expect or an equivalent language (e.g Tcl/Tk, python), and strong ability to develop, maintain, and monitor automated processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a must. 
  • Past experience with technical presentations, customer interfacing, and requirements interpretation is highly desirable.
